|| = || __ ALERT
Someone recently reported these two young men on the roof of the SAHCA Hall. A separate person may have also seen them there previously.
The last person didn’t want to call police, because that might give two young guys a longterm permanent record. We understand why he wouldn’t want to do that.
While we are not interested in getting anyone in trouble, we are also not interested in the possible outcomes of such activities. A slip or stumble could have serious consequences, including permanent injury or death. Or seeing them there could inspire other youngies to try similar stunts. We are sure all community members (parents or otherwise) would not want any of that.
If you know the parents, please let them know so they can deal with this. We would also appreciate the update (at info@standrewsheights.ca), so we can stop worrying.
If these young men are not part of your family, but you do have children, this might also be an opportunity to discuss the reasons to avoid these types of activities (until you are old enough and trained). Do it before they think of it. But don’t inspire them to do it.
Thank you.
Hopefully the young men one day understand our concerns.
