There is a team working on rebuilding the playground at the school (which is also available for community use).
The team is still in the planning stages and asking for your feedback on the design. Please remember to complete the survey by March 1st, 2026. Questions can be directed to: playground@standrewsheights.ca
As well, our ice rink is now back in order. The team arranged a bit of a cold spell to help with that. However, they also know we like the warmer weather - so make sure you get out on the ice while you can. And, please, don’t be begging for ice in August.
One last good thing is that the City got the water issue on Toronto Crescent fixed. The 8 homes that were without water should all have it back again. If there are any homes that have issues, please put a call in to 311. The water trucks are also still there - so if you do have issues, there is water available.
There is still work to do to close up the hole needed to access the problem. The crescent remains blocked for traffic.
