|| = || __ FURTHER UPDATE
There is a definite river of water and slush on the corner of Toronto Cres (and further). Eight homes have been affected, meaning they are now without water.
City staff are currently removing snow from more drains (to help reduce the water on the street).
Tomorrow, the City will be here to investigate further. It will likely require some actual digging. They will determine if it is an issue from the waterline to a specific property, or with the main waterline. Then they will work on fixing it.
It is expected repairs may take up to 3 days.
A water wagon (with safe drinking water) will be available at some point soon. This will allow affected residents to get water for household use. Please bring a clean container.
If you don’t need to travel that direction, please use alternative routes.
