October 6th . Firepit and Full Moon Party . 6pm
Community member Clarence Kort will be installing the full moon on October 6th. St Andrews Heights is so grateful for his care.
It will start with treats around the campfire at the SAH hall. Things will then move to the toboggan hill. Clarence will share his telescope and knowledge. We will watch the full moon rise (assuming clear skies).
Please note: toboggans will not be required on the toboggan hill! You only need a willingness to watch the full moon sing and dance.
|| = || __ FIX IT CLINIC (Arusha Centre and SAH Eco-Group)
October 11th . 9am - 2pm
What: Bring your broken household appliances, kids toys and clothes to the hall to be fixed. Give them a renewed life!
Why: St Andrew Heights Eco-Group wants to help you keep items out of the landfill to support sustainability.
What can I bring: Clothes that need to be mended or hemmed, though we will not be accepting zipper repairs. Household items - anything from hair dryers to lawn mowers to toasters to KitchenAids.
Arusha will be accepting cash donations as they are a volunteer-run service that is free for communities.
