One of our neighbours has pears to share (from her pear tree).
This is what she says:
“We have a bumper crop of lovely pears this year and are happy to give away.
They are great for jams, jellies, pies, baking, etc. Some people even like to eat as is, but they are not as good as more exotic varieties. :)
They are ready to be picked up any day this week, up until Friday at noon. They need a few days to ripen and will last in storage for a week or two quite easily.
Please bring your own bag(s) or box.”
