The Community Association has learned the NHL is going to have one of the biggest games of the upcoming season right here in SAH.
It will feature at least one up-and-coming superstar in a street hockey rally. The date is next Saturday, September 6th. Tickets are already sold out.
A small section of Toronto Crescent will be closed for roughly 3 hours between 2pm and 5pm. The exact location is between 12th Avenue and the alley before 13th Avenue (at the hospital end of Toronto Crescent).
One key player just had birthday #7 not long ago. The game was supposed to happen then. It was unexpectedly postponed due to other players being on summer holidays with their "no-you-can't-go-home-alone" parents. Early-stage Hockey Moms and Daddos have such little insight into these critical matters! Thus we are also training them. We do expect they will progress quickly.
To the best of our knowledge, the Calgary Flames and/or the Edmonton Oilers expect to sign at least one, if not all, of these players over the next 25 years. All players are around the same age as Birthday Boy #7.
Number Seven’s Mother applied for the street closure. It has been approved by the City of Calgary. Please use alternate routes during this date and time. Or bring a lawn chair to cheer on your favourite team.
We anticipate at least 256,342 goals will be scored. That is likely a world record. It also explains the anticipated destiny of the players.
