|| = || __ SAH COMMUNITY CONNECTOR
Following up on our recent posting for a part-time position, the St Andrews Heights Community Association is pleased to announce that we have selected a Community Connector for the Building Connected Communities project (BCC).
The agency responsible for this project, Carya: CDLI, hosted the recruitment and interview process. We have hired Olivia Smith for 12.5 hours/week. She will work as a Community Connector to engage residents, foster connections, and help identify local strengths, opportunities, and resources. (The position is fully-funded by Carya, and there are no costs to the community association).
Olivia has lived in the community for 22 years (except for a recent 4 years in BC for her Bachelor of Arts in political science and environment). She will start the position April 14th. She looks forward to having many community conversations and will start them right away. Please look for more information in future e-newsletters.
One of the first events will involve her and Clarence Kort hosting a Jane’s walk (https://janeswalk.calgarycommunities.com) early May. It will focus on the great physical assets of our community, such as the plants and birds in our green spaces.
