There has been a lot of discussion lately around planning in the City and how it affects SAH.
Al Rasmuson and Liz Murray, two longtime community residents and SAHCA board members, will be hosting an evening for community residents to review a variety of planning topics including:
Residential Grade-Oriented Infill (R-CG) zoning – discretionary use approved in Blanket Rezoning
Calgary Plan – Update to Calgary’s Municipal Development Plan (MDP), approval deferred to early 2026
South Shaganappi Local Area Plan – recommendations going to City Council on March 4th
Housing Grade Oriented (H-GO) – Stacked townhomes
