The City of Calgary/St Andrews Heights community clean up will be held this Sunday September 29th from 9 am to 1 pm in the parking lot east of the hall.
The city will be accepting items that would normally go in your black bin but are too large such as furniture, toilets, old treadmills, lumber and other weird items like garden gnomes or your old stuffed critter. Bring your items to the parking lot for disposal during the event.
Items that will not be accepted include chemicals, large appliances, batteries, large glass items, household hazardous waste, liquids, sod, dirt, etc. You can find more information about acceptable items here:

Note we are not able to accept electronics at this event. Check the city website for options to recycle those items or drop them off at any Best Buy location even if you didn't buy the item there.
