Our SAH tennis courts are currently locked down.
The reason?
It’s not that it’s winter, or the wrong time of the year.
Rather, some visitors feel it is appropriate to have their dogs in the court area (and leaving little gift piles behind). Those who use the courts don’t appreciate that racket.
The SAHCA Board has decided that pets should not be in the court area - at all.
The board is also working on getting a better locking and access system in place. In the meantime, the courts will not be left ‘open’ during daytime hours (for anyone who wants to come and go).
Community members who wish to play tennis during our good weather, can contact Gwen for the access code. One court is currently clear of snow and ice. That’s a big invitation!
Kindly ~ please ~ leave the pets at home. Or exercise them somewhere else.
