|| = || __ HOSPITAL NOISE __

There was an unexpected plant trip last night at the FMC power plant leading to a loud noise from about 11 pm to midnight on December 12th. It was rectified shortly after midnight and has been normal since.

FMC has identified the root cause and are hoping to remediate it as soon as possible. In the meantime, they have incorporated some measures that should help. However they cannot guarantee there will not be another trip.

FMC apologizes for the inconvenience this has caused. FMC states that it is never their intention to cause any form of disturbance and assures those around the site that they are working to resolve this, for the long term, as quickly as possible.

We have been alerted to people who are walking their dogs on or around the SAH tennis and pickleball courts. The dogs are leaving some ‘treasures’ for the players to ‘enjoy.’ The players are not really finding it fun.

If this is you, kindly reconsider bringing your dogs into the court area. At the very minimum, please pick up after them.

This photo has been kindly shared by a neighbour who discovered this beautiful animal in their yard. It’s also a reminder to be careful with pets who might face a difficult meetup without even leaving home.
