One of our neighbours has reported a car alarm going off constantly in the middle of the night. The vehicle is somewhere along the 2900 block of 11th Avenue NW. And it has been happening more than one night in a row.

This is making it difficult for others to get a good night’s sleep.

If you live nearby and it might be your vehicle, please please please kindly take care of the issue. If you haven’t noticed, the people in our neighbourhood ***do*** need their beauty rest!

Wanted: Rental accommodations or house sitting opportunity for the family of a caregiver providing support to a SAH resident.

The caregiver has been working here for four years. Her husband and two sons (ages 16 & 18) are in the process of immigrating from The Philippines. They will likely arrive in December. They are quiet and responsible newcomers.

Our SAHCA Facebook page got hacked in late July. We have tried to contact Facebook to resolve the issue (without much success). We are therefore going to use a new Facebook page (which was actually also setup a few years ago though never used).

This ‘new’ Facebook page is not yet live. We will update once it is ready to go. We recommend un-liking the original page, which now has a ‘firfin’ identity.

We, of course, hope you will like the new page when it is ready.
