A speed skater from Quebec will be in Calgary for about 6 weeks over the summer to train at the Olympic Oval. The speed skater, who is 16 years old and female, is looking for temporary accommodations. Dates are roughly early July to mid-August.
If you are willing to share a room in your home, or know of other possible options, please send a message along with your contact info. We will then share it with the speed skater, who will make a decision based on the best option for their own needs. If you are contacted, we suggest being prepared to discuss conditions (including costs, if any).
Please note, St Andrews Heights Community Association does not know the skater and cannot provide a reference. Please complete any background checks you deem necessary for accepting a stranger into your home.
