|| = || __ AT THE TOP OF THE HILL
After our earlier eNEWS went out, another neighbour contacted us to report also finding a bike. It was standing on the crest of the hill, upside down, as if someone was about to fix it. The front wheel was far down the hillside.
The neighbour took the pieces home and was able to reassemble it, then take it for a spin. The review? “Nice shocks, front disc brake, great tires, but the front derailleur needs work.”
There was a lock wrapped around the seat post, with a tag on it. The tag has a name and phone number, though when called there has not been a response.
Again, if this bike is yours, please send a message to the newsletter. Please also include the info on the tag (for verification purposes) - and the best number to reach you. The person who found Bike 2 will be in touch.
Thank you to our kind neighbours who make an effort to get lost or stolen property home again - and even repair it.
