We recently reported on someone who lost two dogs in the neighbourhood - and someone else who found the two dogs.
This afternoon we heard from the owner. Her mother had been looking after the dogs. On the date in question, Mom had a slip on the ice, fell and hit her head. As a result, she doesn’t remember anything that happened that day.
We do know the dogs disappeared and that a neighbour found them. Through the efforts of various community members, the dogs made it back home.
The daughter appreciates the kind people who stepped up to help - and sends her heartfilled thanks.
We hope Mom will also be okay.
