SPEED SKATING LESSONS

Max Poulin and Darby Beeson helped with the speed skating lessons provided by the Calgary Grizzlies last year. They have now both qualified to be on the team that will represent Canada at World Junior Long Track Speed Skating Championships in Germany next month. They leave on January 30th for two weeks.

There will be an open skating lesson with them on Saturday afternoon (January 28, 1:00pm - 1:45pm) at the outdoor rink in St Andrews Heights. Attendees will be invited to sign a good luck flag that they will take with them to the competition.

Come out and celebrate this opportunity with them. Enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and Timbits — and just have a bit of fun. The Community Hall Skate Room will be open for use for this event.
