Maria Montessori Education Centre (also known as Chief Crowfoot School) has the following reminder for dog owners:
We love our dogs. We want them to get good exercise. We want them to be happy.
Please remember, the school yard is not a suitable off-leash park. In fact, dogs are not allowed on the school grounds at all.
Staff have been finding a lot of damage to school property - and, in particular, balls (likely caused by dogs).
We love our dogs, but we also love our children. Please remember to take your dogs elsewhere for their exercise (and education).

UKRAINE BENEFIT CONCERT
St David's United Church in Brentwood is extending an invitation to attend a benefit concert in support of Ukrainians. The concert will take place on November 5th at the church (3303 Capitol Hill Crescent NW).
It promises to be a very special evening of Ukrainian and Canadian music.
All proceeds will go towards purchasing flights for Ukrainians to travel to Canada and towards purchase of winter clothing for Ukrainians in need in that country.
