One of our contacts, Nick Molesky, is the team lead for an important new program rolling out in Calgary.
Therapeutic Foster Caregiving (TFC) is a new initiative by the Government of Alberta to provide young people between 13-17 years of age who are in their care, with a therapeutic family setting and supports that are youth centered, and youth and family focused.
Through these relationships, youth can receive the support of the program and their case team to build and strengthen their natural support networks, their culture and their community connections; acquire skills to help them cope with challenges and achieve their goals, and effectively transition to their “forever” homes.

HOUSE ON THE MOVE
Another house will be moving out of St Andrews Heights from 2908 Toronto Cres. It will move in two parts - one starting overnight tonight (August 22 / 23) and the second part overnight on August 24 / 25th.
Please watch for no parking signs along Toronto Cres to 13th Avenue (and out to 29th Street) on these dates. Vehicles parked in the marked areas may be ticketed and towed at owner's expense. Emergency access will be maintained.
SAHCA does recognize this is really late notice for tonight - however all affected neighbours should have previously received notice in their mailbox (and should see no parking signage on the street). If tonight's rain and lightening storm causes any changes, we will update as we learn more.
