'HOOD WATCH

|| = || __ 'HOOD WATCH __ SAME GUY, DIFFERENT YARDS

Two different homeowners sent in video footage today of a guy checking out their properties overnight. Screenshots were shared with both homeowners, who agreed it looked like the same guy. For one owner, this is the third prowler recently caught trying to get in their yard. The other owner had things stolen.

Here he is on the second camera (bottom righthand corner of the shot). The two yards are at opposite ends of St Andrew's Heights. The second video was about an hour after the first. This might also mean he was in other yards overnight as well.

The second homeowner describes him as follows:
Hair: light coloured, baseball cap/light coloured, short scruffy beard below his chin, Top: light coloured jacket over a dark looking vest/wearing a back pack, Bottom: long pants, Shoes: shoes seemed to have wrapping, Age: mid 30's?, Sex: male, Ethnicity: Caucasian, Build: thin

He stole an Eddie Bauer stroller (used for the owner's dog who recently had hip surgery) and an air mattress that the owner was allowing to dry out on the porch after it was drenched in the rain.

If you know who he is, or have other related info, please report to our Community Police Liaison Officer (contact below) -- or let us know, so we can share with the neighbours who reported.

AND IN OTHER NEWS (MIGHT BE RELATED)

These items were also found very early this morning. They were in the back alley near the corner of 11th Avenue and Toronto Cres. The person who found them (behind a property that is for sale) did not spend a lot of time looking through the bags, but they are very heavy. It might be stolen property. If you are the owner, or know who is, please let us know so we can help get everything back where it belongs.
