Chief Crowfoot School has alerted us that they have a fairly large number of items in their Lost and Found Department.
Coat? Boots? Hat? Teddy Bear? If something of yours has gone missing (especially if it's something that belongs to a child), don't forget to check in with their office. Items frequently end up there after an adventure in the school yard or playground.
Right now they have a large number of children's coats. It's that time of year when it's easy to throw it off, then forget to take it home.
Please note, the school is not able to provide medical assistance to lost stuffies.

Yes, it's also time to think about yard care. The SAHCA board has previously kept a list of people (or companies) willing to provide services such as snow shoveling, babysitting and daycare. We recently got a request from a neighbour looking for someone to mow their lawn.
If you'd like to be referred, please send a message with your name and phone number. Please also include any additional yard care services you are willing to offer, such as weeding or trimming branches (and let us know if we should add you to the snow removal list as well). We will then share this list with anyone in the community who asks.
Note, we are happy to share the list, but can't make guarantees about the quality of service. Please DDD - do due diligence.

We have a new 'Hood Watch, which we will be sending out soon. Thank you, as always, for being on the lookout and providing us with information of concern.
If you are not already on our email list or Facebook page, please join and encourage neighbours to join as well. It's an easy way to stay up-to-date with all that's going on in and around the 'hood.
